 Our Client is seeking a Disclosure & Closing Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the Initial Loan Estimates, Rate Lock Loan Estimates, Loan Estimate Changes of Circumstance, Closing Disclosure, delivery of the closing package to the appropriate Settlement Agent process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor queues within Loan Origination software to ensure accurate and timely generation and delivery of all Disclosures to stay compliant while meeting closing dates, and responding to borrower ‘Intent to Proceed’
  • Stay updated on changes tied to Rate Lock Loan Estimates, and Loan Estimate Changes of Circumstance in accordance with the policies and procedures of the HFC Secondary Departmentued according to HFC guidelines and CFPB regulations, and maintain the FIFO process
  • Review monthly Post Closing Reports to identify errors and to develop future training needs
  • Represent Disclosure & Closing Dept. during Post-Closing and other Departmental meetings
  • Act as Escalation Contact for resolution of issues with MLOs, Closing Attorneys, etc.,
  • Confirm that all Closing Packages are delivered in a timely manner to Settlement Agents, in addition to ensuring the prompt return of the Closing Package, and accuracy of Closing Documents
  • Oversee responses to ensure the effectiveness of Disclosure & Closing e-mail/phone information requests
  • Auditing employee work product, ensuring accuracy, and developing training based on issues found
  • Effectively handle all people issues: staffing, performance issues, promotions, compensation adjustments, etc.
  • Constantly analyze the flow of Dept., work with Supervisor(s) to consistently improve operations
  • Analyze capabilities, determine daily and future needs, including staffing and training
  • Develop training tools and features to resolve errors; ensure employees receive appropriate training



  • Minimum 5 years’ prior experience in Disclosure and Closing or Processing functions in Mortgage Industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ prior experience in Mortgage, preferably in Disclosure, Closing, Underwriting, or similar function
  • Prior experience with Encompass or similar LOS
  • At least 3 years experience effectively managing people
  • Willingness and ability to remain updated on new/revised regulations related to the group, and industry; maintain knowledge and training to ensure subject-matter-expertise
  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail in all work, including maintaining composure in high pressure, tight deadline-driven environments
  • Proven critical thinking skills with the ability to view business needs from company-wide and Dept.-wide levels
  • Self-starter with the ability to follow manager-assigned duties relating to applicable policies and procedures.
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills; includes the ability to maintain relationships with all customers (internal and external)
  • High level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office based programs and multiple web-based sites
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Validated ability to prioritize and efficiently work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Open to work flexible hours, as needed
